Gordon Smith > Woton's Throne is the most spectacular thing that I have seen in the Grand Canyon. It is enormous, extremely rugged, uplifted high above the canyon floor. This picture was taken before sunrise. It was so dark that taking this picture took about 60 seconds. That is why the clouds have blurred because they were moving.

Gordon Smith > This is a picture taken from Cape Royal looking to the southeast. In the foreground is Freya Castle and the background is Vishnu Temple. This was taken before sunrise and the entire sky in the land was a beautiful purple.

Gordon Smith > This is a general picture from Bright Angel point. This was a cloudy day when I took this picture. The next morning the sun came out.
