Yosemite - # - Gordon Smith Fine Art Photography -- Southwest Landscapes

In 2006, I traveled to Yosemite National Park, to one of the birthplaces of landscape photography. I was shocked at the size of El Capitan. No picture can do it justice. What a fabulous location! The Mist Trail by Nevada and Vernal Falls gives a great commune with nature. The farther I hiked, the smaller the crowd until it was just me. Another favorite was fern falls. This journey is now in my distant past as far as photographic development as an artist. Still, there are some from this distant time that I still enjoy!
