One of the premier fishing rivers of the west is the Madison River and I have the good fortune to visit there every summer. My father built a cabin in the valley about 25 years ago and annual visits there and to nearby
Yellowstone National Park are highlights of every summer. The cool mountain air, the strong winds, the incredible big sky make it rich in photographic potential. These are a few of my favorites shots from this area.
Golden fields and Blue mountains. I waited for a long time for the sun to come out so I could take this shot. When the sun hit the grass, it lit up like thousands of candles for about 10 minutes, allowing me to take several pictures. This one is my favorite.
