October 2015: Clouds Stretch Across the Morning Sky
Mosida is a pioneer trek site in central Utah. The grasslands and open spaces are beautiful. This beautiful morning the elements of nature were lovely indeed.
Fire at Night
Fire Wave of Valley of Fire glows hotter just as the sun sets. I sat and waited for the sun to go down. As it did, the rocks seems to gradually glow more and more, as if they had been turned on magically.
Buckskin Gulch Golden Wall
In long Buckskin Gulch, sometimes the canyon opens up and creates incredible, amazing lush sections. The wash provides water and enough lights comes through to allow trees to thrive.
This private courtyard and door were off a side street in Arles. Arles is a great place to wander the streets, get lost and find little treasures. I liked this doorway, house and the pathway leading to it.
First Light on Paris
Several sources of light are in this picture: the waning moon is setting, the lampposts are in alignment, and the sunlight from dawn begins to reach the buildings also.
The Fire Wave (or Firewave) in Nevada's Valley of Fire state park lights up at sunset with reds and oranges that don't come out at other times of the day. The rock folds back and forth on itself as if it were alive. The sight is spectacularly beautiful
