Red Sailboat floating in shallow waters. As low tide approaches at Bahia Honda state park, a lone sailboat comes in for snorkeling and scenery. The clear water, soft sand and beautiful skies are perfect.
Sandy Spit -- Black and White
As sunset neared, I climbed up to the top of an adjacent island to photograph this small dot of an island. The high winds and waves made me think that black and white processing was the best way to handle this photo.
Beach Umbrella of the BVI
on Loblolly Bay. Anegada's north shore is one continuous stretch of gorgeous beach going on for miles and miles. This lovely umbrella invites visitors to enjoy a perfect beach.
British Virgin Islands Postcard
If this picture doesn't say "I wish you were here" then nothing does. A beautiful beach, girl in a sun hat and bikini looking out over the blue sea. Her sailboat is anchored off shore.
Study Abroad: Study the Sea
I really enjoyed seeing all the studies throughout Europe. Each one is searching for meaning, purpose, understanding, culture, fun. This woman sat overlooking the sea in Corniglia, Cinque Terre.
These two couldn't keep their hands off one another while on the rocky breakwater of Riomaggiore. They were oblivious to everyone around them. The setting was very romantic at the edge of the sea
Beautiful Sandy Spit Sunset
The channel between Sandy Spit, Green Cay, Sandy Cay and the distant island of St. John was remarkably devoid of sailboats on a gorgeous sunset. I climbed up from the base of Green Cay to make this photograph. What a beautiful moment!
Tiny Island, Wide Sea
The minuscule island of Sandy Spit has the cutest beach in all directions with a center comprising of about 12 bushes total. A couple short palm trees also grow here.
Beautiful sunset with Sandy Spit in the empty Caribbean sea.
Cow Wreck Beach
on northern Anegada is empty, lovely, beautiful and waiting for just one person to take the whole thing. This soft sand was some of the finest I've ever walked on and the water is a hypnotic blue.
White Bay Sunrise
Finest beach sand in the British Virgin Island is found on Jost Van Dyke. Here on a Monday morning, the hustle and bustle of work is forgotten. The beautiful, wonderful small waves tickle the toes and delight the senses.
actually belonged to the Rockefeller family for many years. Sandy Cay was donated to the British Virgin Islands several years ago and is now a national park, wildlife refuge and a beautiful place to picnic.
