The lands seems to ignite with color and light in the late afternoon around fire canyon arch. I've never seems a more colorful arch. Although small, it's a beauty! The leading lines of the rock are a delight!

Fire at Night
Fire Wave of Valley of Fire glows hotter just as the sun sets. I sat and waited for the sun to go down. As it did, the rocks seems to gradually glow more and more, as if they had been turned on magically.

This photograph of the Paw Hole New Wave caught my attention because of the lichen-highlighted rocks at the base of the wave.
