August 2015: Sunrise at Lake Powell, Utah. Curved sandstone slopes out of deep, dark water creating a wonderful aesthetic geometry at sunrise. Leading lines and low light make this a beautiful landscape.
I like naming this "the invitation" because the land is so lovely. But I did not traspass. I stayed on my side of the fence and only took pictures of the taller, greener grass on their side.
June 2015: Broken Sandstone Tablets and Beautiful Lake Powell Sunrise. The clouds reach all across the sky to encircle me. The orange dramatic cliffs tower above Lake Powell. Thousands of broken sandstone rocks are everywhere!
Emerald Cave of Black Canyon: The green water is clear because the Hoover Dam captures all the silt. The water's color is mesmerizingly gorgeous. This cave can only be reached by small watercraft (canoe, kayak). What a great adventure.
