Gordon Smith > Granite and Gold
Gordon Smith > Snow begins to come to red rock country at unpredictable times. This shot is from the Subway in Zion National Park during a surprise snowstorm.
Gordon Smith > Day 7: This shot was taken near smugglers cove, looking north towards Avila Beach. The waves crashed through the golden arch (not McDonald's)!

This picture was a 2nd place winner in the Zion Staircase Gallery competition, 2009.
Gordon Smith > Day 18: Grasses and the Great White Throne. Although this is a major landmark in Zion National Park, not a lot of people will take a picture of it that looks very good. I have not seen many that capture it well. This is my attempt. The Pipe Organ is on the right.
Gordon Smith > Foggy day at Garrapata State Park, along Highway 1
Gordon Smith > DAY 14: I was at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon last weekend. This is my favorite shot from there: Woton's Throne is the most spectacular thing that I have seen in the Grand Canyon. It is enormous, extremely rugged, uplifted high above the canyon floor. This picture was taken before sunrise. It was so dark that taking this picture took about 60 seconds. That is why the clouds have blurred because they were moving.
Gordon Smith > Partington Point (just south of Big Sur) on a gray day.
