March 2015: Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees and Jungle
in the Ke'anae Arboretum of Maui, Hawaii. These gentle giants of the forest kindly glow red, orange, green and brown. So peaceful and beautiful, they wait for discovery and touch.
Fisherman and His Beloved Boat. On a small uninhabited island, this fisher set up a camp to dry his squid and other fish he caught. He wades in the water in this photo preparing to go back out fishing.
Hi'ilawe Waterfall and Boulder
While I visited, some smaller rocks fell into the water and the surrounding area. This is an unstable place.
This particular boulder would have made a huge impact when it landed.
Taunga Island Shade in the Vava'u island group of Tonga. The small island seen across the lagoon is Ngau. It's possible to walk between the two on soft sand. Driftwood and a green coverup are used to create a small bit of shade.
October 2016: Beachy Head Lighthouse stands below the high white cliffs of Beachy Head. The high cliffs make this red and white stripe lighthouse look small. Here I zoomed in to see the watery isolation of this sizeable tower.
September 2017 (second selection): Ngau, A Tropical Tongan Island. Crystal aquamarine waters, powdery sand, palm trees make this the perfect island paradise. This adventure can only be reached by sailboat.
