Frosty, the Devil and a Christmas Tree
Another shot from the Devil's Garden: this one reminded me of a snowman (even with a belly button).
Kanarra creek, near Zion national park, is a small version of the more famous "Narrows" hike. The water is ankle-deep and pleasant. The canyons walls lit up well with the reflected red light. This hike was a small magical piece of paradise.
Rich in color
I used an especially open aperture to get the background leaves out of focus with this wide angle shot.
In the Trees at Calf Creek Waterfall
Another sunrise shot from the Devil's Garden. These "heads" are about 12-14 feet tall (not counting their pedistal) and lovely shapes. I walked all around them and tried to get different shots. The light lightly touching the rocks makes this one special in my opinion. Thanks for your support and comments everyone.
Portrait of Mount Hayden
A good day in Montana can be the best day of the year for a visitor. This day was wonderful for me, as a photographer and visitor: great clouds and blue sky that goes on forever!
Another shot from Mars-like Nipple Bench badlands.

Wildflowers along the north side of Lake Powell inspired this selective coloring rendition.
